Preface
The National Statistical Office of Thailand is pleased to present the
“ Quarterly Bulletin” containing statistics on economic, social and environment
compiled by both the National Statistical Office and other line ministries. The
bulletin provides monthly and quarterly statistics by which the government, private
sectors including general public can use in policy planning, monitoring and
evaluation, as well as studying situation, trends and changes of the country
development.
This Quarterly Bulletin is conducted four quarters in a year and
disseminated in the form of e-Book in our website :
by which users can
easily access and use and also in line with the policy on reducing the publication cost
too. Data is presented in both statistical tables and figures of three major sectors,
namely, social sector, economic sector, and natural resource and environment sector
which comprise of statistics on demographic, population and housing statistics,
labour statistics, education statistics, social security statistics, justice, security, political
and public administration statistics, national accounts, agriculture and fishery
statistics, industrial statistics, energy statistics, trade and price statistics, transport and
logistics statistics, information and communication technology statistics, tourism and
sport statistics, finance, banking and insurance statistics, fiscal statistics, and natural
resources and environment . Sources of data and statistics are also identified in each
tables, therefore users may wish to search for more information from that particular
sources.
The National Statistical Office would like to express our sincere gratitude
to all government agencies and state enterprises for the kind support in providing
statistical data for this Quarterly Bulletin, and look forward to continuous support in
