43 Business and Industrial Census Chapter 3 Major Finding 3.2.1 Persons engaged and remuneration 1) Number of persons engaged In 2021 , the workers of the Bangkok manufacturing establishments, were a total of 464,565 persons . Most ( about 139,366 persons or 30.0 %) were in establishments with more than 200 persons ( Table B ). Considering by division of industry, most of them ( about 75,639 persons or 16.3 % ) worked in the Manufacture of wearing apparels . Followed by those who worked in Manufacture of rubber and plastic products about 10 . 1%, the Manufacture of fabricated metal products (excepts machinery and equipment) , and Manufacture of food products with the same proportion, about 9.3 %. The other divisions of industry not mentioned above had a relatively low proportion of persons engaged, each with not greater than 9.0% of the total . 2) Number of employees In terms of employees of manufacturing establishments, there were a total of 429,139 persons .
