vii Preface The 2022 Business and Industrial Census is conducted in two stages . The listing stage was conducted in 2021 , in which basic information about all establishments engaged in all economic activities was collected . The enumeration stage is conducted in 2 0 2 2 , in which detailed information about establishments engaged in business trade and services and manufacturing was collected . In the process of collecting basic information, there has been a database from the registration system of various agencies, including database from the Department of Business Development, Department of Industrial Works, and Department of Agricultural Extension to integrate with the personal and juristic database of the National Statistical Office for use in basic data collection as well . This publication presents the results of the enumeration stage conducted in 2022, in which detailed information on establishments engaged in manufacturing activities were classified according to the Thailand Standard Industrial Classification ( TSIC - 2 0 0 9 ) , located in the Central region . The National Statistical Office ( NSO ) would like to express sincere gratitude to all those concerned for their kind cooperation in contributing to the success of this census . This information will be useful for data users, such as the government sector, private sector, academics / researchers as well as general interested people .
