CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION 1 . 1 BACKGROUND The National Statistical Office ( NSO ) continuously conducted the Business trade and Services Census and the Industrial Census every 5 - 1 0 years, based on the recommendation of the United Nations to obtain timely basic information on the business . The Business trade and Services Census has conducted for 4 times, in 1966 , 1988, 2002 and 2012. The Industrial Census has conducted 5 times, in 1964 , 1997, 2007, 2012, and 2017 .
