46 National Statistical Office The 2022 Business and Industrial Census ( Manufacturing Industry : Vicinity ) 3 . 2 . 2 Value of gross output, intermediate consumption and value added The value of gross output of manufacturing establishments in the Vicinity ( Table C ) was 4,340,842.5 million baht . The intermediate consumption was 3 , 084 , 320.6 million baht and the value added was 1 , 256 , 521.9 million baht . The proportion of the value added to the value of gross output was about 28.9 %. Considering by size of the establishment, the establishments with more than 200 persons engaged contributed the highest proportion of value of gross output, intermediate consumption, and value added of about 22.2 % , 22.9 % , and 49.8 % , respectively . Moreover, the highest proportion of value added to the value of gross output about 35.2 % was from the establishment with 1 – 5 persons . Considering by division of industry, the most value of gross output, intermediate consumption, and value added were from the Manufacture of food products of about 22.2 % , 22.9 % , and 20.5 % , respectively . The following engaged in the Manufacture of rubber and plastic products had the value of gross output, intermediate consumption, and value added of about 10.7 % , 10.2 % , and 11.7 % , respectively . The other divisions of industry had relatively low, with each division having a value not greater than 10 . 0 %. Comparing the value added per value of gross output in each division reveals that the establishments in the Publishing activities had the highest proportion, about 40.5 %. In contrast, establishments in the Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products had the lowest proportion of value added per value of gross output, about 24.2 %.
