The 2014 Social Indicators in Brief

Introduction Background Statistical data and indicators have played very important roles and been needed by policy makers for evidence-based plans and policies, including monitoring and evaluating those plans and policies. The National Statistical Office, therefore, compiles the social indicators which normally could be used to measure and follow the impacts of social situation of the country. Objectives The objectives of this booklet are as follows;  To study and compile the social statistics and indicators of the country, such as Population and Housing, Labor Force, Education, Health, Gender and Other Social Statistics.  To monitor and evaluate plans and policies on social situation.  To study trends and situation of the social changes.
