สถิติการขนส ง และโลจิสติกส สถิติการขนส ง และโลจิสติกส ที่นําเสนอในบทนี้ได รวบรวมข อมูลจาก กรมทางหลวง กรมการขนส งทางบก การทางพิเศษแห งประเทศไทย การรถไฟแห งประเทศไทย บริษัท ท าอากาศยานไทย จํากัด ( มหาชน ) กรมการบิน พลเรือน กระทรวงคมนาคม สํานักงานตํารวจแห งชาติ และ สํานักงานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคม แห งชาติ สํานักนายกรัฐมนตรี กรมทางหลวง กระทรวงคมนาคม มีหน าที่ตรวจ ตราและควบคุมทางหลวงและงานทางที่เกี่ยวกับทางหลวง พิเศษ ทางหลวงแผ นดิน และทางหลวงสัมปทาน กรมทางหลวง ได นําเสนอข อมูลเกี่ยวกับ ทาง ก อสร าง ทางรักษาสภาพ และบํารุงทาง ทางหลวงในประเทศไทย แบ งออกเป น 6 ประเภท ตามพระราชบัญญัติทางหลวง พ . ศ . 2535 ได แก ทางหลวงพิเศษ คือ ทางหลวงที่ได ออกแบบ เพื่อให การจราจรผ านได ตลอดรวดเร็วเป นพิเศษ ทางหลวงแผ นดิน คือ ทางหลวงสายหลักที่เป น โครงข ายเชื่อมระหว างภาค จังหวัด อําเภอ ตลอดจนสถานที่ สําคัญที่กรมทางหลวงเป นผู ดําเนินการก อสร าง ขยาย บูรณะและบํารุงรักษา ทางหลวงชนบท คือ ทางหลวงนอกเขตเทศบาล และเขตสุขาภิบาล องค การบริหารส วนจังหวัด องค การ บริหารส วนตําบล กรมทางหลวงชนบท และหน วยงานอื่น ๆ เป นผู ดําเนินการก อสร าง ขยาย บูรณะ และ ทางหลวงเทศบาล คือ ทางหลวงในเขตเทศบาลที่ เทศบาลเป นผู ดําเนินการก อสร าง ขยาย บูรณะ และบํารุงรักษา ทางหลวงสุขาภิบาล คือ ทางหลวงในเขตสุขาภิบาลที่ สุขาภิบาลเป นผู ดําเนินการก อสร าง ขยาย บูรณะ และ บํารุงรักษา ทางหลวงสัมปทาน คือ ทางหลวงที่รัฐบาลได ให สัมปทานตามกฎหมายว าด วยทางหลวงที่ได รับสัมปทาน Transport and Logistics Statistics Transport and Logistics statistics presented in this chapter have been derived from the Department of Highways, the Department of Land Transport, The Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand, the State Railway of Thailand, Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited, Department of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transport, Royal Thai Police and the National Economic and Social Development Board, Office of the Prime Minister. The Department of Highways is responsible for monitoring and controlling only for special highways, national highways and concession highways. Statistics presented were the data on under construction roads, and maintenance. Highway is classified, under the National Highway Act B.E. 2535 (1992) , into 6 categories. Special highways or Motorways; these are roads with especially high standards of design and prepared to highly facilitate traffic on the important routes National highways; roads which connect the regions, provinces districts and other primarily important routes, they are under the responsibility of the Department of Highways. Rural roads; they are roads connecting among non-municipal areas and sanitary districts, they are taken care by Tambon Authority Organization, the Department of Highways Municipal highways; all roads in municipal areas governed by municipal authority such as cities, towns. Roads in Sanitary districts; roads in sanitary district areas under the office of sanitary districts. Concession highways; a special road, in which the government provided for public use.
