พฤติกรรมการสูบบุหรี่และการดื่มสุราของประชากร คุ้มรวม สารวจครั้งนี้ คือ บุคคลผู้อาศัยอยู่ในครัวเรือนส่วนบุคคล ทั่วไปในเขตเทศบาลและนอกเขตเทศบาลทั่วประเทศ ยกเว้น ครัวเรือนชาวต่างประเทศที่ท างานในสถานทูต องค์การ ระหว่างประเทศที่มีเอกสิทธิ์ทางการทูต เพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูล เกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงต่อภาวะสุขภาพของประชากร บุหรี่ ในพระราชบัญญัติยาสูบ พ.ศ. 2509 หมายถึง ยาเส้นหรือยาเส้นปรุง ไม่ว่าจะมีใบยาแห้งหรือยา อัดเจือปนหรือไม่ ซึ่งมวนด้วยกระดาษหรือวัสดุที่ท าขึ้นใช้ แทนกระดาษหรือใบยาแห้งหรือยาอัด ประเภทบุหรี่ในการสารวจครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ บุหรี่ซองผลิต ในประเทศ บุหรี่ซองผลิตจากต่างประเทศ บุหรี่มวนเอง หรือบุหรี่ที่ไม่ได้ผลิตจากโรงงานยาสูบและอื่นๆ เช่น ซิการ์ ไปป์ เป็นต้น สุราหรือเครื่องดื่มมึนเมา หมายถึง เครื่องดื่มที่มี ส่วนผสมของแอลกอฮอล์ เช่นสุรา แม่โขง แสงทิพย์ หงษ์ทอง สุรา 28 ดีกรี สุราขาว กระแช่ สาโท บรั่นดี ไวน์ วิสกี้ เบียร์ เป็นต้น สุขภาพจิตของคนไทย สานักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ เป็นผู้จัดท า โดยให้ผู้ตอบอายุ 15 ปีขึ้นไป สารวจตัวเองและ ประเมินเหตุการณ์ อาการ ความคิดเห็น และความรู้สึกของ ตนในช่วง 1 เดือนที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งการสารวจได้ใช้ข้อถามสุขภาพจิตคนไทยฉบับสั้น 15 ข้อ (ที่กรมสุขภาพจิตได้พัฒนาจากข้อถามฉบับสมบูรณ์ 54 ข้อ) ข้อถามแต่ละข้อมีคะแนนอยู่ระหว่าง 0-3 คะแนน ซึ่ง คะแนนเต็มของข้อถามสุขภาพจิตชุดนี้คือ 45 คะแนน in municipal and non-municipal areas throughout the country, excluding special and institutional households, as well as, diplomat households. Data collected were population’s behavior at risk to health status. Cigarette: according to the Tobacco Act. B.E. 1966, it means such of finely tobacco-cut or another similar substance is flavored whether or not mixed with any other ingredient of tobacco-dried or finely tobacco-cut, wrapping or covering of which is made of paper or used any other substance rather than paper or tobacco-dried or finely tobacco-cut. Types of cigarette covered in this survey, were such as cigarette-packed in domestic, cigarette- packed from aboard, roll-your-own cigarette not producing from the Monopoly Tobacco Office and other cigarette such as cigars and pipes, and etc. Liquor or alcoholic beverage means the beverages having an ingredient of alcohol, such as Thai liquors: Makhong, Sangthip, Hongthong; local liquor such as the white spirit at 28 degree; white liquor; traditional liquors: Kra Chae, Sa to and the others, namely brandy, wine ,whisky, beer, and etc, Statistics on mental health of Thai people were compiled by National Statistical Office by surveying Thai people aged 15 years and over, in order to collect data on mental health of Thai people from time to time according to economic situation. Mental health of Thai people can be classified into 3 levels, derived from 15 questions concerning Thai people’s mental health, (that was developed from complete edition of 54 items by Department of Mental Health).
