อุตุนิยมวิทยา ได้รวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ อุณหภูมิ ปริมาณน้าฝน ความสูงของสถานีเหนือระดับทะเลปานกลาง ความกดอากาศ และความชื้นสัมพัทธ์ สาหรับข้อมูลอุณหภูมิ เฉลี่ยได้มาจากการตรวจของอุณหภูมิตุ้มแห้ง ประเทศไทยโดยทั่วไป สามารถแบ่งได้เป็น 3 ฤดู ดังนี้ 1. ฤดูร้อน เริ่มต้นประมาณกลางเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ไปจนถึงกลางเดือนพฤษภาคม พิจารณาจากอุณหภูมิสูงสุด ของแต่ละวัน อากาศร้อน อุณหภูมิระหว่าง 35.0 0 ซ. - 39.9 0 ซ. ถ้าอากาศร้อนจัด อุณหภูมิตั้งแต่ 40.0 0 ซ. ขึ้นไป 2. ฤดูฝน เริ่มต้นประมาณกลางเดือนพฤษภาคม ไปจนถึงกลางเดือนตุลาคม ในระหว่างนั้นอาจจะมีฝนทิ้งช่วงบ้าง การพิจารณาปริมาณฝนในระยะเวลา 24 ชั่วโมง ตั้งแต่เวลา 07.00 น. ของวันหนึ่ง ถึงเวลา 07.00 น. ของวันรุ่งขึ้น ลักษณะของฝนที่ตกในประเทศมีดังนี้ ฝนวัดดจ าานวนัไม่ได้่้ ปริมาณฝนน้อยกว่า 0.1 มิลลิเมตร ฝนเล็กน้อย ฝนเล็กน้อย ปริมาณฝนอยู่ระหว่าง 0.1 -10.0 มิลลิเมตร ฝนปานกลาง อยู่ระหว่าง10.1-35.0 มิลลิเมตร ฝนหนักกั อยู่ระหว่าง 35.1 - 90.0 มิลลิเมตร ฝนหนักกมากั ปริมาณฝนตั้งแต่ 90.1 มิลลิเมตร ขึ้นไป 3. ฤดูหนาว เริ่มต้นประมาณกลางเดือนตุลาคมถึง กลางเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ พิจารณาจากอุณหภูมิต่าสุดของแต่ละ วัน อากาศหนาวจัด อากาศหนั ด อุณหภูมิต่ากว่า 8.0 0 ซ. อากาศหนาว อุณหภูมิระหว่าง 8.0 0 ซ. 15.9 0 ซ. อากาศเย็นน็ อุณหภูมิ ระหว่าง 16.0 0 ซ. - 22.9 0 ซ. Meteorology Its statistics presented the data about temperature, rainfall, elevation of station above mean sea-level, atmospheric pressure and relative humidity. For the matter of mean temperature, it was computed form the data on dry temperature observation. In general, Thailand’s climate can be divided into three seasons as follow: 1. Hot season, it lasts from mid - February to mid - May. Considering its temperature, which ranges from 35.0 O C to 39.9 O C , it was regarded as daily hot. The highest temperature, sometime was over 40.0 O C . 2. Rainy season, it lasts from mid - May to mid - October. At this period, it might be scarcity of rain sometime. Considering the volume of rain in 24 hours starting at 7 a.m. till 7 a.m. of the next day, there normally variety of rain volume, as follows: an un- measurable rain as its volume lower than 0.1 millimeter; aa ffeeww rraaiinn aass its volume between 0.1 millimeter and 10.0 millimeter; a moderate rain as its volume between 10.1 millimeter and 35.0 millimeter; a heavy rain as its volume between 35.1 millimeter and 90.0 millimeter and a very heavy rain as its volume upper than 90.1 millimeter. 3. Cool season, it lasts from mid - October to mid - February. Considering daily temperature the ccoooolleesstt cclimate was lower 8.0 O C . The cool climate, the temperature ranged from 8.0 O C . to 15.9 O C and the moderate cool climate, the temperature ranged from 16.0 O C to 22.9 O C . Natural Resources and Environment Statistics 551
