การส ารวจการใช้พลังงานของครัวเรือน สานักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ จัดท าครั้งแรกในปี 2527 และ จัดท าต่อเนื่องทุก 2 ปี โดยการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลค่าใช้จ่าย เกี่ยวกับพลังงานประเภทต่างๆ ของครัวเรือน ให้ครอบคลุม ครัวเรือนส่วนบุคคลทุกจังหวัดทั่วประเทศ และตั้งแต่ปี 2549 จะจัดท าทุกปีซึ่งข้อมูลดังกล่าวนาไปใช้ประโยชน์ใน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลค่าใช้จ่ายด้านพลังงานของครัวเรือน The Household Energy Consumption Survey , the National Statistical Office has carried out survey of household energy consumption since 1984 and continued every two years. The survey covered private households throughout the country, and since 2006 , it has been conducted every year.
