ข้อมูลพื้นฐำนด้ำนประชำกรและสังคมของผู้ย้ำยถิ่น สำหรับ นำไปใช้ในกำรติดตำมสถำนกำรณ์ กำรย้ำยถิ่นของประชำกร เพื่อนำไปประกอบในกำรกำหนดนโยบำย และจัดท ำแผน เกี่ยวกับกำรกระจำยตัวและกำรตั้งถิ่นฐำนของประชำกร ในแผนพัฒนำเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชำติ ตลอดจนใช้เป็น แนวทำงในกำรวำงแผนพัฒนำโครงกำรต่ำงๆ และแก้ไข ปัญหำที่เกิดจำกกำรย้ำยถิ่นของประชำกร การเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรชั่วคราว คนต่ำงด้ำวที่จะเข้ำมำในรำชอำณำจักรเป็นกำร ชั่วครำวได้ จะต้องเข้ำมำเพื่อกำรปฏิบัติหน้ำที่ทำงรำชกำร กำรทูตหรือกงสุล กำรท่องเที่ยว กำรเล่นกีฬำ ธุรกิจกำรลงทุน หรือกำรอื่นที่เกี่ยวกับกำรลงทุนภำยใต้บังคับกฎหมำยส่งเสริม กำรลงทุน หรือกำรลงทุนที่ได้รับควำมเห็นชอบจำกกระทรวง ทบวง กรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง กำรเดินทำงผ่ำนรำชอำณำจักร กำร เป็นผู้ควบคุมพำหนะหรือคนประจำพำหนะที่เข้ำมำยังสถำนี หรือท้องที่ในรำชอำณำจักร กำรศึกษำหรือดูงำน กำรปฏิบัติ หน้ำที่สื่อมวลชน กำรเผยแพร่ศำสนำที่ได้รับควำมเห็นชอบ จำกกระทรวง กรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง กำรค้นคว้ำทำงวิทยำศำสตร์ หรือฝึกสอนในสถำบันกำรค้นคว้ำหรือสถำบันกำรศึกษำใน รำชอำณำจักร กำรปฏิบัติงำนด้ำนช่ำงฝีมือหรือผู้เชี่ยวชำญ และกำรอื่นตำมที่กำหนดในกฎกระทรวง คนต่ ำ ง ด้ ำ ว ซึ่ ง ไ ด้ รั บ อ นุญำ ต ใ ห้มีถิ่นที่ อ ยู่ ใ น รำชอำณำจักร จะต้องขอรับใบสำคัญถิ่นที่อยู่จำกผู้บัญชำกำร ตำรวจแห่งชำติ หรือพนักงำนเจ้ำหน้ำที่ซึ่งผู้บัญชำกำรตำรวจ แห่งชำติมอบหมำยไว้เป็นหลักฐำน ภำยในเวลำ 30 วันนับ แต่วันที่ได้รับแจ้งจำกพนักงำนเจ้ำหน้ำที่เป็นลำยลักษณ์อักษร ในกรณีที่คนต่ำงด้ำวอำยุต่ำกว่ำสิบสองปี ได้รับ อนุญำตให้มีถิ่นที่อยู่ในรำชอำณำจักร ผู้ใช้อำนำจปกครอง หรือผู้ปกครอง ต้องขอรับใบสำคัญถิ่นที่อยู่ในนำมของคน ต่ำงด้ำวผู้นั้น The objectives are to collect basic information on socio and demographic of the migrants for monitoring the migration situations as well as for being used in conducting the evidence-based plans and policies in order to solve the problems of the population migration. Temporary stay in the Kingdom Alien can enter into the Kingdom for a temporary stay, if they are working for diplomatic or consular missions, official duties, touring, sporting, investment business or other activities related to investment, subject to the provisions of the law on investment promotion, transit journey, persons in charge of the crew of a conveyance coming to port, station or area in the Kingdom, study or observation, mass media, missionary under the concurrence of the Ministries and Departments concerned, scientific research or training or teaching in educational institutes in the Kingdom, skilled handicraft or a specialist, and other activities as prescribed in the Ministerial Regulation. The alien who is allowed to take up residence in the Kingdom must apply for a Residence Certificate from the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police or from an officer designated by the Commissioner- General of the Royal Thai Police within 30 days from the date receiving written notification from a designated officer.
