ประเทศมีมากกว า 40 ชนิดซึ่งสามารถจําแนกออกเป นกลุ มแร ตามลักษณะการใช ในอุตสาหกรรมได 8 กลุ ม ดังนี้ 1. กลุ มแร เชื้อเพลิงและพลังงาน ได แก ลิกไนต และ แอนทราไซต 2. กลุ มแร โลหะและแร หายาก ได แก ดีบุก ตะกั่ว สังกะสี เหล็ก อลูมิเนียม แมงกานีส ทองแดง ทังสเตน โคลัมไบต - แทนทาไลต และเซอร คอน 3. กลุ มแร รัตนชาติและโลหะมีค า ได แก ทองคํา และอัญมณี 4. กลุ มแร อุตสาหกรรมซีเมนต ได แก หินปูน หินดินดาน ยิปซัม และดินมาร ล 5 . กลุ มแร อุตสาหกรรมก อสร าง ได แก หิน อุตสาหกรรมเพื่อการก อสร าง หินอ อน หินแกรนิต และ หินประดับ 6. กลุ มแร อุตสาหกรรมเซรามิกแก วและกระจก ได แก ดินขาว เฟลด สปาร โดโลไมต บอลเคลย ทรายแก ว และควอร ตซ 7. กลุ มแร อุตสาหกรรมปุ ยเคมีภัณฑ ได แก โพแทซ เกลือ เพอร ไลต ฟอสเฟต 8. กลุ มแร ที่ใช ในอุตสาหกรรมอื่นๆ ได แก แบไรต ฟลูออไรต แคลไซต ทัลค ไดอะทอไมต และเบนโทไนต than 40 kinds of minerals were produced domestically which could be categorized into 8 groups according to their industrial utilizations as follows: 1. Mineral Fuels and Energy group: Lignite and Anthracite 2. Metals and Rare Earth group: Tin, Lead, Zinc, Iron, Aluminium, Manganese, Copper, Tungsten, Columbite-Tantalite and Zircon 3. Precious Metals and Precious Stone group: Gold and Gem stone 4. Cement Industrial Minerals group: Limstone, Shale, Gypsum and Marl 5. Construction Industrial Minerals group: Industrial rock construction, Marble, Granite and Dimension stone 6. Ceramic and Glass Industrial Minerals group: Kaolin, Feldspar, Dolomite, Ball clay, Glass sand and Quartz 7. Fertilizer and Chemicals Industrial Minerals group: Potash, Rock Salt, Perlite and Phosphate 8.
