สถิติหญิงและชาย สถิติเกี่ยวกับหญิงและชาย ที่เสนอในบทนี้ ได มาจาก กรมการปกครอง กระทรวงมหาดไทย กรมควบคุมโรค และ กร มก า ร แ พทย ก ร ะ ท ร ว ง ส า ธ า รณสุข สํ านัก ง า น คณะกรรมการข าราชการพลเรือน สํานักนายกรัฐมนตรี และสํานักงานสถิติแห งชาติ กระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจ และสังคม แผนพัฒนาสตรีในช วงแผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและ สังคมแห งชาติ ได ให ความสําคัญในการสร างสังคมไทยเป น สังคมที่เสมอภาค เพื่อคนไทยทุกเพศทุกวัย ให มีเจตคติที่ เคารพเท าเทียมระหว างหญิงชาย พัฒนาสังคมไทยให เป น สังคมที่มีความเป นธรรม มีความยุติธรรม และปราศจาก การเลือกปฏิบัติเพื่อเร งพัฒนาศักยภาพและเสริมสร าง คุณภาพชีวิตของสตรีในสังคมไทยทุกกลุ มทุกวัย โดยเฉพาะ กลุ มที่อยู ในภาวะลําบาก หรือกลุ มด อยโอกาส โดยเน นให สตรีมีสุขภาพ (กายและใจ) สุขภาวะที่ดี สตรีสามารถเข าถึง บริการสาธารณะขั้นพื้นฐานต างๆ ที่ได มาตรฐาน มีระดับ การศึกษาและความรู ที่เพียงพอต อการประกอบอาชีพที่มั่นคง การพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของตนเอง ครอบครัว และชุมชน มีการเรียนรู อย างต อเนื่อง โดยสามารถเข าใจและใช ประโยชน จากเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย เพื่อเข าถึงข อมูลความรู และสามารถ นํา ไ ปปร ะ ยุกต ใ ช ใ นชีวิตอย า ง มีศักยภาพ รู เ ท าทัน การเปลี่ยนแปลง และทันโลกทันสมัย อีกทั้งยุทธศาสตร การพัฒนาสตรีฯ ยังเน นการพัฒนาปรับปรุงมาตร การกฎหมาย กลไก และกระบวนการที่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาสตรี โดยมุ งสร างสังคมไทยให เป นสังคมที่สงบสุข มั่นคงปลอดภัย สตรีอยู ในครอบครัว ชุมชน และสังคมที่อบอุ น มั่นคง และ ปลอดภัยปราศจากความรุนแรงทุกรูปแบบ และเน นพัฒนา สตรีให รู เท าทันต อการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่กําลังเกิดขึ้นในอาเซียน และ ใน โ ลก การกําหนดยุทธศาสตร และ แนวทาง เพื่อ ให สอดคล องกับเป าหมายที่กําหนดไว ในพันธสัญญาและ Gender Stat is t ics Gender statistics presented in this chapter were obtained from the Department of Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior; Department of Disease Control and Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Health, Office of the Civil Service Commission, Office of the Prime Minister and National Statistical Office, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society . The Women’s Development Plan was developed as a part of the National Economic and Social Development Plan to promote gender equality as well as to promote respectful society and creating equity, equality and non-discriminated community. This is to accelerate the development and enhancing the quality of life of women in Thai society in all ages, especially the people in difficulties or the vulnerable group. One of the main focuses is on women’s health (both physically and mentally). As a basic good health, women should also be easily accessible to the fundamental public services, have a better educational and employment opportunities, as well as improvement and upgrading of technical skills, business and management skills and the use of new technologies. Moreover, women should be able to access to information and knowledge for which they can apply for the daily life. The plan also focuses on the improvement of the laws, regulations, mechanism and processes related to women development in order to create the peaceful and safe society. Women should live in a healthy and wealthy family, community and society, and without any kind of violence and discrimination.
