ทางหลวงชนบท คือ ทางหลวงที่กรมทางหลวง ชนบทเป นผู ดําเนินการก อสร าง ขยาย บูรณะ และบํารุงรักษา และได ลงทะเบียนไว เป นทางหลวงชนบท ทางหลวงท องถิ่น คือ ทางหลวงที่องค กรปกครอง ส วนท องถิ่นเป นผู ดําเนินการก อสร าง ขยาย บูรณะ และ บํารุงรักษา และได ลงทะเบียนไว เป นทางหลวงท องถิ่น ทางหลวงสัมปทาน คือ ทางหลวงที่รัฐบาลได สัมปทานตามกฎหมายว าด วยทางหลวงที่ได รับสัมปทาน และได ลงทะเบียนไว เป นทางหลวงสัมปทาน กรมการขนส งทางบก กระทรวงคมนาคม เป น หน วยงานที่รวบรวมข อมูลการจดทะเบียนรถใหม การต ออายุ ทะเบียน การย ายออก การย ายเข า การโอนกรรมสิทธิ์ และอื่นๆ ตามพระราชบัญญัติการขนส งทางบก พุทธศักราช 2522 แยกตามประเภทของรถยนต ดังนี้ คือ รถโดยสาร ประจําทาง รถโดยสารไม ประจําทาง รถโดยสารส วนบุคคล รถบรรทุกไม ประจําทาง รถบรรทุกส วนบุคคล และรถขนาดเล็ก รถยนต หมายถึง รถยนต สาธารณะ รถยนต บริการ และรถยนต ส วนบุคคล รถยนต บริการธุรกิจ หมายถึง รถยนต ที่ใช บรรทุก คนโดยสารระหว างท าอากาศยาน ท าเรือเดินทะเล สถานี ขนส งหรือสถานีรถไฟกับโรงแรมที่พักอาศัย ที่ทําการของ ผู โดยสารหรือที่ทําการของผู บริการธุรกิจนั้น รถ ย นต บริ ก า ร ทั ศน า จ ร หม า ย ถึ ง ร ถ ย นต ที่ผู ประกอบธุรกิจเกี่ยวกับการท องเที่ยวใช รับส งคนโดยสาร เพื่อการท องเที่ยว A rural highway or rural road is a highway for which the Department of Rural Roads (DORR) carries out construction, expansion, upkeep and repairs. Registration of rural highways is overseen by the Director General of the DORR. A local highway or local route is a highway for which the local administrative organization carries out construction, expansion, upkeep and repairs. Registration of rural highways is overseen by the provincial governor. A concession highway is a highway for which a legal government concession has been granted. Registration of concession highways is overseen by the Director General of the DOH The Department of Land Transport; Ministry of Transport is the agency responsible for registration of new vehicle, license, renewal, rights transfer and others. According to Land Transport Act B.E. 2522 (1979) , vehicles are classified as follows: fixed route bus, non-fixed route bus, private car, non-fixed route truck, private truck and mini bus. Vehicle: public vehicle, vehicle for service and private car.
