สถิติวิทยาศาสตร เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม สถิติวิทยาศาสตร เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม ที่เสนอ ในบทนี้ ได มาจากกรมทรัพย สินทางป ญญา กระทรวง พาณิชย และ World Economic Forum สิทธิบัตร การคิดค นเทคนิคต างๆ ในการผลิตหรือ ค นพบเทคโนโลยีใหม เจ าของผลงานการค นคว าและการค นพบ นํามาจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตร เพื่อเป นการครอบครองกรรมสิทธิ์ ทางกฎหมาย การจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตร กรมทรัพย สินทางป ญญา เป นหน วยงานรับการยื่น และจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรในประเทศไทย และรวบรวมข อมูลสิทธิบัตรเกี่ยวกับสถิติการยื่นคําขอ และ การจดทะ เบียนสิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ และการออกแบบ ผลิตภัณฑ สิทธิบัตร หมายถึง หนังสือสําคัญที่รัฐออกให เพื่อ คุ มครองการประดิษฐ หรือการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ ที่มี ลักษณะตามที่กฎหมายกําหนด เป นสิทธิพิเศษ ที่ให ผู ประดิษฐ คิดค นหรือผู ออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ มีสิทธิที่จะผลิตสินค า จําหน ายสินค าแต เพียงผู เดียว การประดิษฐ หมายถึง ความคิดสร างสรรค เกี่ยวกับ ลักษณะองค ประกอบ โครงสร างหรือกลไกของผลิตภัณฑ รวมทั้งกรรมวิธีในการผลิต การรักษา หรือปรับปรุงคุณภาพ ของผลิตภัณฑ ให ดีขึ้น หรือทําให เกิดผลิตภัณฑ ขึ้นใหม ที่แตกต างไปจากเดิม เช น กลไกของเครื่องยนต ยารักษาโรค วิธีการในการเก็บรักษาพืชผักผลไม ไม ให เน าเสียเร็วเกินไป เป นต น การออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ หมายถึง คว ามคิด สร างสรรค เกี่ยวกับรูปร างลักษณะภายนอกของผลิตภัณฑ ที่แตกต างไปจากเดิม เช น การออกแบบแก วน้ําให มีรูปร าง เหมือนรองเท า เป นต น Science, Technology and Innovation Statistics Science Technology and Innovation Statistics presented in this chapter obtained from the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce and the World Economic Forum (WEF). Patent: Such of new processing techniques and new products are patented by the only persons or companies that are the originators and owners that could allow to make or sell a new product for a certain period of time. The Department of Intellectual Property is the focal point to provide the document for their patent. Also, the department has gathered various statistics of patent. Patent means important document issued by the government to certify and protect the rights of inventors who initiated in invention and new creation of product design. Under the law, the inventors can solely produce and distribute their products as provided under the laws. Invention means innovation on composition, structure or mechanics of a product, including procession of production and maintenance, as well as quality improvement, make a new product that differs significantly from the unit’s previous product such as engine mechanism, medicine, process of handling vegetable and fruit greatly slow down spoilage, etc. Product Design means innovation related to modification of exterior feature of a product for beautification and differentiation.
