ความสามารถในการแข งขันของประ เทศ อันดับคว ามสามารถ ใ นการแข งขันของปร ะ เ ทศ เ ป น ดัชนีที่สะท อนให เห็นถึงจุดแข็ง และจุดอ อนของประเทศ เมื่อ เปรียบเทียบกับประเทศอื่นๆ ณ ช วงเวลาเดียวกัน ซึ่งส งผล ต อความเชื่อมั่นของนานาประเทศที่มีต อประเทศที่ได รับ การจัดอันดับ ดังนั้นอันดับความสามารถในการแข งขันของ ประเทศนับเป นข อมูลพื้นฐานที่สําคัญต อการจัดทํานโยบาย และวางแผนการพัฒนาประเทศ ซึ่งในป จจุบัน International Institute for management Development (IMD) และ World Economic Forum (WEF) ถือเป น 2 หน วยงาน ที่จัดทํารายงานการจัดอันดับความสามารถในการแข งขันของ ประเทศต างๆ และเป นรายงานที่ได รับการยอมรับจากนานา ประเทศ IMD ได เผยแพร รายงานการจัดอันดับความสามารถ ในการแข งขันของประเทศต างๆ ในรายงาน The Word Competitiveness Yearbook (WCY) โดยแบ งเกณฑ ในการพิจารณาออกเป น 4 กลุ มป จจัยหลัก ได แก 1. ศักยภาพทางเศรษฐกิจ 2. ประสิทธิภาพของภาครัฐ 3. ประสิทธิภาพของภาคธุรกิจ 4. โครงสร างพื้นฐาน WEF ได เผยแพร รายงานการจัดอันดับความสามารถ ในการแข งขันของประเทศต างๆ ในรายงาน The Global Competitiveness Index 4.0 โดยกําหนดป จจัยที่นํามาใช ในการจัดอันดับ 4 กลุ มดัชนี ได แก 1. กลุ มดัชนีสภาพแวดล อมที่ส งเสริมความสามารถ ในการแข งขัน 2. กลุ มดัชนีทุนมนุษย 3 . กลุ มดัชนีตลาด 4. กลุ มดัชนีระบบนิเวศที่ส งเสริมเรื่องนวัตกรรม Ranking of the national competitiveness is one of an index to reflect the strength and weakness of the country comparing with the others at the same period of time. The ranking will impact national’s confidentiality of the ranked country. However, the ranking of national competitiveness is a benchmark information for the country in plan and policy development. Current, there are two key organizations, namely, International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and World Economic Forum (WEF) publishing the ranking of national competitiveness of nations countries, and their reports are internationally accepted. IMD has presented the ranking of national competitiveness in The World Competitiveness Yearbook (WCY), the criteria for consideration are as follows; 1 . Economic Performance 2. Government Efficiency 3. Business Efficiency 4. Infrastructure For the WEF , it has presented the ranking of national competitiveness in The Global Competitiveness Index 4.0 , the criteria for consideration are as follows; 1.
