Natural Resources and Environment Statistics
Natural resources and environment statistics presented in this chapter were obtained from
the Department of Land Development, the Royal Irrigation Department, the Royal Forest
Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operatives, the Pollution Control Department, Ministry
of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Local Administration, Ministry of
Interior, the Meteorological Department, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
Natural Resources
Soil, water, forestry and mineral are the major factors in developing
country . Although some resource is to utilize for developing country but it happens the side-effect
to the other resources as well. The ecological management should be considerably served for the
stability of development.
Environment
In general, everybody wish to have a good environment, fresh air, good food
and pure water. In present situation, based on people as increasingly amount and an advanced
technology, these take place rapidly changed environment such as changing weather and polluting
the water, air, soil, etc.
