agricultural products or natural resource in processing that the Board perceived the type of investment as
a new or sufficient or upgrading production technology.
Constructions
The National Statistical Office has conducted a Constructions Area Survey once
a year since
1966.
The survey covers all permitted building constructions including additional and alterational
constructions in every province around the country.
New Construction means all new buildings whether or not they are rebuilt.
Addition and alteration means any changes of building that its boundary, type, shape, ratio and area
are innovated and have effect on its original form.
Statistics on Household Manufacturing Industry
:
National Statistical Office has been carried
out the first survey in
1991
and continued carrying out every

years. Since
2004
this survey has been
expanded its coverage to cover both household and manufacturing establishments with less than 10 persons
engaged.
This chapter presents basic information of small Scale establishments e.g. receipts and expenditure,
employment and debts.
