Energy Statistics
Energy statistics presented in this chapter were obtained from the Department of Alternative
Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, the
Provincial Electricity Authority.
Electricity
The electric statistics were presented the data about installation, generation, electric
sales, revenues and number of customers. There are two main authorities on electricworks
;
the Metropolitan
Electricity Authority has the responsibilities in the area of Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan
;
the
Provincial Electricity Authority has the responsibilities in the area of the rest.
Energy Statistics
:
Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of
Energy has compiled information on production, supply management of primary energy, importing crude
oil and petrol, use of energy and other related detailed information.
