6. ICT in education
The indicators measuring the use ICT in education consist
of 8 indicators, they are 1) proportion of schools with a radio used for
educational purposes, 2) proportion of schoolswith a television used
for educational purposes, 3) proportion of schools with a telephone
communication facility, 4) learners-to-computer ratio in schools
with computer-assisted instruction, 5) proportion of schools with
Internet access, 6) proportion of learners who have access to
the Internet at school, 7) proportion of learners enrolled at the
post-secondary level in ICT-related fields and 8) proportion of
ICT-qualified teachers in schools. At present, these indicators are
under compiling by the education organization under the Ministry
of Education therefore the report is not able to present those
indicators mentioned
