Insurance for disasters was the agreement between the insurer and the insured that the insurer
agreed to pay an amount of money or other compensation to the insured in case the disasters stated in the
insurance policy occurred, provided that the insured agree to pay insurance fee to the Insurer.
Insurance for disasters in Thailand were categorized into
4
types
:
Fire Insurance, Marine and
Transportation Insurance, Car Insurance, and Miscellaneous Insurance.
The co-operative statistics
of Thailand were obtained from the Co-operatives Promotion
Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operatives. Its objective is to assemble and process data of all
types of co-operatives and their membership on the first of January in each year. Statistical compilation also
have been coordinated and checked the completion with the central co-operatives offices concerned.
Co-operatives presented in this publication have included all liquidated co-operatives societies.
