Household income
Total household incomes includes
current income
which consisted of wages and salaries, tips,
bonuses, etc.

net profits from farming and non-farming business
;
property incomes such as property
rent, land rent, license and copyright, interest, and dividends
;
current transfer received such as assistance
payments, welfare, pensions, work compensation or terminated payment, etc.
;
non-money income
(
income-in-kind
)
such as the value of goods and services received as part of pay, home-produced
and consumed
(
including the imputed rental value of owner occupied dwellings
)
or received free from other
sources and
other money receipts
such as insurance proceeds, lottery winnings and other windfall receipts.
Current income is the total household income excluding other receipts.

The Civil Servants
Living Condition Survey,
the National Statistical Office has carried out the
survey on civil servants’ living condition since
1989
and has continued every two years. This survey is
specifically obtained from civil servants level

from all over the country
(
except government staff in
district, prosecutor, judge, solider, policeman, teacher and politician
)
Government Official Family means
:
1
. government officers,
2
. spouse and children who had no income whether living in the same household or not,
3.
parents, relatives
, adopted children and depending persons who were supported by
government official and living with government official or government official’s spouse or child,
The followings were excluded
:
1.
children who had income whether living in the same household or not,
2.
parents and depending persons who were supported by government official but not living with
government official or government official’s spouse or child,
3.
domestic servants of government official family.

Private company employees
The Household Energy Consumption Survey
, The National Statistical Office has carried out
survey of household energy consumption since
1984
and continued every two years. The survey covered
private households throughout the country, and since
2006,
it has been conducted every year. Data obtained
could be used in analytical work on households’ energy consumption.
