กระชับสัมพันธ์วิชาการสถิติ ไทย-เกาหลี
นายวิชัย ประทีปทิพย์ รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ พร้อมด้วยผู้อำนวยการระดับสูง เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะกรรมาธิการสถิติแห่งชาติ สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี (KOSTAT Commissioner) ณ สำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี เมืองแทจอน สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี เนื่องในโอกาสที่สำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี (Statistics Korea: KOSTAT) ได้ตอบรับการจัดงานประชุมทวิภาคีระหว่างสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติประเทศไทย และสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ครั้งที่ 17 ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2562 (17th Bilateral Meeting between KOSTAT and TNSO) ระหว่างวันที่ 26 – 30 สิงหาคม 2562
โดยสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ได้ลงนามในความตกลงเพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือทางสถิติ (Arrangement for Statistical Cooperation) เป็นเวลากว่า 17 ปี นับตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2545 และประเทศไทย เป็นเจ้าภาพการประชุมทวิภาคีของทั้งสองฝ่าย ครั้งที่ 16 เมื่อเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2561 ที่กรุงเทพมหานคร และจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ในการประชุมทวิภาคีครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายจะได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ในหัวข้อที่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาวิชาการด้านสถิติ การสำมะโน/สำรวจด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคม การพัฒนาวิธีการ และเทคโนโลยีที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการผลิตรวบรวมข้อมูล ตลอดจนการให้บริการข้อมูลสถิติ การดำเนินนโยบายเกี่ยวกับการใช้ข้อมูลจากทะเบียน กลยุทธ์เกี่ยวกับข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ (Big Data Strategy) การสร้างและพัฒนาสถาปัตยกรรมองค์กร (Enterprise Architecture) การแลกเปลี่ยนเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลตลอดจนการพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านสถิติ และยังเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่ประเทศไทยจะได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมศูนย์ข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ (KOSTAT Big Data Center) เพื่อเรียนรู้วิธีการใช้ประโยชน์จากข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ในการจัดทำสถิติของประเทศ
"Strengthening Thai-Korean Statistical Cooperation "
Thailand and the Republic of Korea have established statistical cooperation for over 17 years through the Arrangement for Statistical Cooperation signed on 28th November 2002. Following our commitment, Thailand hosted the 16th bilateral meeting of both parties in December 2018 in Bangkok and Chiang Mai province.
In this bilateral meeting, both sides exchanged knowledge on topics related to the development in areas of statistics; strategy of conducting economic and social censuses and surveys; the development of statistical methodology, the modernization of technology and infrastructure of statistical production and statistics-related regulations.
Both sides shared their recent experiences in policy implementation of statistical information services big data strategy initiatives, data linkage exchange, the creation and development of enterprise architecture (EA), and statistical personnel management and development.
During the bilateral meeting the TNSO delegates had the opportunity to visit KOSTAT Statistics Big Data Center to learn how to make use of big data in the country's statistics preparation and paid a courtesy call on Mr. Young-tae Son, the Director-General for Gyeongin Regional Office during the visit of the Gyeongin Regional Office of Statistics to learn and exchange experience on the administration in the regional offices of Statistics Korea.
On this occasion, TNSO reassures the commitment to further strengthen Thai-Korean statistical cooperation and will host the 18th bilateral meeting in Thailand in 2020.
