ICT Indicators
The ITU has published manual of recommendations in
compiling standardized ICT statistics for the developing world,
such as Core ICT Indicators 2010, Handbook for the collection of
administrative data on Telecommunications/ICT 2011 and a set of
some indexes for international comparison: IDI (ICT Development
Index).
Core ICT Indicators 2010 was divided into 6 domains as
follows;
1. ICT Infrastructure and access
2. Access to and use of ICT by households and
individuals
3. Use of ICT by businesses
4. ICT (producing) sector
5. International trade in ICT goods
6. ICT in education
So as to pinpoint the situation, trends of ICT development
in Thailand, this publication presents the Core Indicators 2010,
including the ICT development Indexes, as follows;
