จากข้อมูลการสำ�รวจการมีการใช้เทคโนโลยี
สารสนเทศและการสื่ อสารในครัวเรื อน
พบว่าครัวเรื อนที่อยู่ในพื้นที่ที่มีการให้บริการ
อินเทอร์เน็ต (ทั้งแบบมี สายและไร้สาย) เพิ่มขึ้น
จากปี 2556 จากร้อยละ 72.0 เป็น 81.8 ใน
ปี 2557 แสดงให้เห็นถึงความพร้อมที่เพิ่มขึ้น
ของระบบโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านการให้บริการ
อินเทอร์เน็ตของประเทศไทย ซึ่งหากต้องการ
ผลักดั นให้ประชากรมี การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ ตเพิ่ม
มากขึ้นอาจจะต้องหันไปมองความพร้อมของ
อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการเชื่อมต่อ ความรู้ ความเข้าใจ
ของประชากร และครัวเรื อนที่ มีต่ อการใช้
อินเทอร์เน็ต
From the household survey
on ICT in 2013 – 2014 by the National
Statistical Office, it was found that the
number of households located in the
Internet service area increased from
72.0% in 2013 to 81.8% in 2014. (Note that
the internet connection in this sense
includes both the with-wire and
without-wire (wireless) connection.)
This growth indicated the readiness in
basic infrastructure of the Internet
service in Thailand. Hence, if there is
a need for connection or an access
to the Internet, it needs to consider
the readiness of devices for the
connection, knowledge, population’s
understanding and households
towards the use of the Internet so as
to push more use of the Internet by
population.
