7.2 Criminal and Land Accident
The Criminal Statistics presented that
in 2014 there were 103,027 reported cases,
which decreased from 109,087 cases in
2013. Of these, mostly were property crime,
followed by crime against person and
violent crime respectively.
Land accidents which damage life
and property tend to decrease which
might be because of the big campaign of a
strong policy on “Drink Don’t Drive” and
other policies by related agencies, such as
the Department of Land Transportation,
the Royal Thai Police. Therefore the
number of person who got losses from
land accidents decreased from 30,230
persons in 2011 to 26,672 persons in 2014.
