คำนำ
สำนั กงำนสถิ ติ แห่งชำติ เริ่ มจั ดทำและ
พิมพ์รำยงำนเครื่องชี้ภำวะสั งคมฉบับแรกในปี 2537
และได้จัดทำมำรวม 4 ฉบับ โดยในปี 2552 ได้
ปรั บเปลี่ ยนแผนกำรจัดทำรำยงำนเครื่องชี้ภำวะ
สังคม เป็ นทุ กๆ 2 ปี เพื่อให้ ผู้ ใช้สำมำรถนำไปใช้
ประโยชน์ ในกำรติ ดตำมสถำนกำรณ์ ได้ อย่ ำง
ต่ อเนื่อง รำยงำนเครื่องชี้ภำวะสั งคม พ.ศ. 2560
นับเป็นฉบับที่ 9 ที่ สำนักงำนสถิติแห่งชำติ ได้จัดทำ
และเผยแพร่
วัตถุ ประสงค์ของกำรจัดทำรำยงำนฉบับนี้
เพื่ อจั ดหำและนำเสนอตั วชี้ วั ดทำงสั งคมของ
ประเทศ ให้เป็ นระบบและต่อเนื่อง โดยตัวชี้วัดทำง
สั งคมในรำยงำนฉบั บนี้ แบ่ งเป็ น 7 สำขำ คือ
สำขำประชำกรและเคหะ แรงงำน กำรศึ กษำ
สุขภำพ สวัสดิ กำรสังคม หญิ งชำย และสังคมอื่นๆ
ตั วชี้ วั ดเหล่ำนี้ สำมำรถนำไปใช้ในกำรวำงแผน
ติ ดต ำม แล ะป ระ เมิ น ผ ล ก ำ ร เป ลี่ ยน แป ล ง
ภำวะกำรณ์ทำงสั มคมในช่วงแผนพัฒนำเศรษฐกิจ
และสั งคมแห่งชำติ ฉบั บที่ 12 (พ.ศ. 2560-2564)
รวมทั้ งแผนงำนด้ำนสังคมอื่ นๆ เช่น แผนเด็กและ
เยำวชน แผนผู้สูงอำยุ และแผนพัฒนำสตรี เป็นต้น

PREFACE
The National Statistical Office
(NSO) published the first report on Social
Indicators in 1994 and continued to
publish totally four publications. Then in
2009, NSO revised the plan to publish this
kind of publication every 2 years in order
to closely follow up the current situation.
This Social Indicators 2017 is the 9th one.
The purpose of compiling social
indicators is to provide and present the social
indicators of the country and be able to
keep them updated continuously. This
publication presents the social indicators in 7
sectors namely: Population and Housing,
Labour, Education, Health, Social Welfare,
Gender and Other Social. These indicators
can be used for planning, monitoring and
evaluation of social changes during the
period of the 12th National Economic and
Social Development Plan (2017-2021) ,
including other national plans and policies
i. e. children, female and the elderly
development plans.
The National Statistical Office would
like to express our sincere appreciation to
all concerned for their contributions and
wish that, this publication would be useful
the Government, private sectors and the
general users.
