Statistics on behavior in listening to the radio and watching Television

Statistical Office has firstly conducted in
1979
. In order to comply with the user’ needs, the title of survey
has been changed into the “Survey on Media (Radio and Television)” started in
2008
. Its coverage was
members, of private house holds, aged
6
years and over. Excluding was special households and institutional
households and households of foreigners working in the embassies or international organizations.
Statistics

Reading

National Statistical Office has started conducting this kind of survey in
2003
to obtain the data for country development and promoting reading behavior to Thai population, as
well as for monitoring and evaluation of related programs.
Reading refers to reading all kinds of books out of study time and working hours, including reading
via electronic media, i.e. internet, CD except, SMS and E-mail.
