2555 เพิ่มเป็ น 1.3 ล้านคน ในปี 2559
5.3 Social Security
The Social Security Scheme is
operated to secure members of the Social
Security fund so as to have income and
access to health services for their sickness
or injuries, maternity, invalidity, death,
child care, old-age and unemployment.
During 2012-2016, the number of
insured persons under compulsory
insurance ( section 33 ) increased from
approximately 9.4 million persons in 2012
to around 10.5 million persons in 2016
while a number of voluntary insured
persons were likely to increase dramatically;
about 30%. That is insured person under
section 39 increased from about 1.0 million
in 2012 to 1.3 million in 2016.
