4.3 อนามัยแมและเด็ก
4.3.1 อัตราเจริญพั นธุของสตรี
จากการที่ประเทศไทยปฏิ บั ติ /ดําเนิ น
นโยบายดานการวางแผนครอบครัว จากป 2513
เป นต นมา ทํ า ให อั ตรา เ จริ ญพั นธุ ของสตรี มี
แนวโน มลดลง เ รื ่อยๆ ข อมูลจากสํ ารวจการ
เปลี่ยนแปลงของประชากร พบวา อัตราเจริ ญพันธุ
2.73 ในป 2528 เหลือเพียง 1.47 ในป 2548 และ
เพิ ่มเปน 1.6 ในป 2557 หมายความว าเมื่ อป
2528 สตรี 1 คน อายุ 15-49 ป ใหกําเนิดบุ ตร
ประมาณ 3 คน แต ในป 2557 กลับลดลงเหลือไม
ถึ ง 2 คน ซึ ่งต่ํากว าระดั บทดแทน ที ่ถื อว าเปน
ระดับที่รั กษาขนาดของประชากรใหคงที่ ซึ่งใน
ปจจุบัน หากภาวะเจริญพันธุของประเทศยังคงอยู 
ในระดับนี้หรือต่ ําลงไปอีก จะเปนเรื่องยากที ่จะทํา
ใหเพิ่มขึ้นจนถึงระดับทดแทน ดั งนั้นประเทศไทย
คงต องใหความสําคั ญกับนโยบายด านประชากรให
มากขึ้ น เพื่อแก ไขสถานการณที่จํ านวนประชากร
จะลดลงอยางตอเนื่อง
4.3 Maternal and Child Health
4.3.1 Fertility Rate
After having been practicing the
family planning policy since 1970, therefore,
the fertility rates in Thailand have been
declining steadily. From survey of the
population change conducted by the NSO, it
was found that the fertility rate was 2.73 in
1985 and 1.47 in 2005 and rose to be 1.6 in
2014, which meant that in 1985, a woman
aged 15-49 years delivered about 3 children,
and then decreased to less than 2 children in
2014, which was below the replacement rate.
Currently, if fertility rate has stayed at
this level or even below, the Thai
Government needs to focus on population
policy to solve the problems a decreasing
number of population.
