กำรก้ำวเข้ ำสู่ สังคมผู้ สู งอำยุ มีผลกระทบ
ในหลำยด้ำน กล่ ำวคื อ ประเทศจะขำดแคลน

ตัวชี้วั ดหนึ่งที่สะท้อนในเรื่องกำรเกื้อหนุ นผู้สูงอำยุ
ก็ คื อ อั ตราการเป็ นภาระผู้สู งอายุ ที่คำนวณจำก
จำนวนผู้สู งอำยุ (อำยุ 60 ปีขึ้ นไป) หำรด้วยจำนวน
ประชำกรในวั ยท ำงำน (อำยุ 15-59 ปี ) ข้ อมู ล
ทะเบี ยนรำษฎร์ ในปี 25591/พบว่ ำ ประชำกรวั ย
แรงงำน 100 คน ต้ องรับภำระผู้ สูงอำยุ ประมำณ
22.7 คน และคำดว่ ำจะมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นเป็ น 58 คน
ต่อวัยแรงงำน 100 คน ในปี 25832/
ในขณะที่ อั ตรำกำร เป็ นภ ำระวั ย เด็ ก
หมำยถึง สั ดส่วนจำนวนประชำกรวัยเด็ ก (อำยุ
0-14 ปี) ต่อประชำกรวัยแรงงำน พบว่ ำมีแนวโน้ม
ลดลงจำก 26.5 คน ต่อวัยแรงงำน 100 คน ในปี
25591/ เป็ น 23 คน ต่อวัยแรงงำน 100 คน ในปี
25832/ เมื่ อแรงงำนในอนำคตลดลง ผู้สู งอำยุจึงต้อง
พึ่งพำตัวเองให้ มำกขึ้น
A Support to the Elderly
Under the situation of aging society,
the government of Thailand might face with a
shortage of labour, which is a major
mechanism in driving country’s economy, at
the same time, labour could also support the
elderly. These indicators is so called a
dependency ratio, calculated by the number
of elderly (aged 60 years and over) divided by
the number of working aged group population
(aged 15-59 years), the figure from register in
20161/ showed that 100 persons of working
aged group had to support 22.7 older
persons and this number was estimated to
be 58 persons in 20402/.
Meanwhile, the dependency ratio
of children means the number of
children (aged 0-14 years) per population
of working aged group, which declined
from 26.5 in 20161/ to 23 per 100
persons of working aged group in 20402/.
Therefore, with this situation the elderly
have to take care and more rely on
themselves.
